I’m watching a 30 minute youtube video of two old polish people showing how to sculpt a traditional butter lamb, and tearing up for some reason as she gently places the cloves in and says “and now we give him eyes to see”
Rakesh runs a second hand book stall near Andheri in Mumbai. You can rent a book from him as low as 10 rupees. When asked if he makes enough, he said, "People earn so they can spend on something they want. I'm already surrounded by the one thing I always wanted".
@rmshnt27@babusathishs Upper class in the skewed Indian context and MRTS and Metro are probably on an equal footing wrt status and clientele, just that one has looked worn down from day 1

@rmshnt27@babusathishs As it's been pointed out Mysskin's movies have MRTS - think Yuddham Sei heavily uses it, plot also revolves around the train itself. Paarthale Paravasam has a scene set in Thirumayilai station I think. Problem is texturally, MRTS is not very different from local electric train..

@navinrajaram Also most regular travellers take flights that are 60-90 minutes. W/A is meaningless for such short trips. Shaving off 30-60 minutes in queue time is way more useful.
@navinrajaram There must also be a significant number who just want to check in irrespective and have a boarding pass ready - printed out to skip queuing at the checkin counter? These people will opt to checkin with the middle seat or upgrade if necessary.
