@rosieabeast Massive congratulations! This is fantastic news. I hope today you are floating and glowing and basking in all your hard-worked-for doctorhood! x
UK Arts & Disability crew, please help spread the word about this new leadership at #Touretteshero. A job for someone who’s committed to removing disabling barriers & who's excited to work in non-normative ways. (London/4 days a wk/£41,200): https://t.co/13tKOy0Ycu
“An access rider is a document of disclosure – it should always be navigated with upmost respect” Thanks for this blog @abswatson I like being radically honest & transparent about barriers I face when working… this has been a refreshing & helpful read. https://t.co/4gwRenHhrW
🤔 ‘To access rider or not to access rider?’
@abswatson, a neurodivergent artist based in Glasgow shares her insights on our blog today.
From issues with access riders to her unique approach (including a snippet from her own dance performance rider).

“Time and care are a dance, sometimes we’re in sync and it’s beautiful, at other moments it’s more of a brawl.” - Jess Thom @touretteshero
Start your week with a beautifully wrttien blog contribution answering to our current question 'How do we make and remake time?".
This isn’t going away @The_Globe you have a shrinking window to show you are prepared to listen to your disabled colleagues. Pressing on & ignoring these well articulated concerns from hundreds of disabled artists will do far reaching damage.
Paid creative, opportunities for disabled, neurodivergent & chronically ill young people aged 14-26. Make new art works for a collaborative zine called The Department of Wonder & Play - the other DWP! Supportive, low pressure opp, easy read info & application. #SpreadTheWord
This week I have been in the studio polishing 'Neurodivergent Embodiments: Choreographies of Stimming' - my new (not boring or confusing) performance lecture that I'm soon taking to Encuentro de Artes Inclusivos Festival in Lima, Peru with thanks to British Council (@pebritish)
This performance lecture is a manifestation of my ongoing interest in neurodivergent-centred knowledge exchange. In it, I show & tell about neurodivergent embodiment, stimming, & my choreographic approach of stimprovisation. Here's a snapshot of me & some stimmy collaborators!
In the last 24 hours, over 6,000 people have signed our petition to @AngusRobertson, urging the Scottish Government to stick to their commitments on arts funding.
Especially now, Scotland's cultural sector needs backing, not broken promises.

🚨🏴🚨🏴🚨
Shocking news: the Scottish Government is breaking its promise on arts funding.
In February, thousands joined our campaign to speak out against a £6.6 million cut to Creative Scotland.
It worked. Ministers abandoned the cut.
But now they're bringing it back.
I have the delight of dancing in Xan Dye's #STIMMING at @ThePlaceLondon tomorrow... and we're sold out! There is still space in our afternoon open dress, so DM if you're interested. Here's some pictures from the very hot rehearsal studio
