“I didn’t think this one was very pretty.”

- Mike Babcock on today’s sessions. Says he didn’t think the passes were crisp and overall sharpness wasn’t there.

So when will Trent Frederic join his fellow countrymen and demand a trade to an American team (inshallah)? Someone add him to the Team USA Olympic group chat pls.

Statement from Connor Hellebuyck:

Stan Bowman even thinking about interviewing Craig Berube is a fireable offence. What are actually we doing here??

[Ryan Rishaug @TSNRyanRishaug]

Hearing a formal interview with Berube is expected after some initial conversation between he and Bowman. Permission to speak with Bruce Cassidy had still not been granted as of Sunday night.

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

Terrible day for us delusional Oilers fans 😔

[Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC]

Tampa Bay GM Julien BriseBois, asked this morning about Jon Cooper’s contract status:

“He’s going to be here for a while.”

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

I am begging the NHL to put a cap on how many active contracts with NMC a team can have bc the Oilers front office needs to be stopped.

[John Matisz @MatiszJohn]

Hearing pending UFA forward Trent Frederic is staying in Edmonton. 8-year contract extension with Oilers. AAV is just under $4 million. Modified no-move clause included.

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

I am actually so sick of this organization.

[Andy Strickland @andystrickland]

Trent Frederic and Edmonton are closing in on an extension which is believed to be an 8 year deal in the range of $4 million per season. #LetsGoOilers

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

The worst part of all this is, we know the Oilers are going to run it back again with Stuart Skinner.

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

I mean, this is just a bold faced lie.

[Jason Gregor @JasonGregor]

“It was a rough situation to come in. He made some really good saves for us. There were no bad goals,” Knoblauch on Skinner. #Oilers

[Ryan Rishaug @TSNRyanRishaug]

Skinner confirms he’s starting.

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

Connor Brown hat trick incoming…

[Paul Almeida @AzorcanGlobal]

The #Oilers need a big performance on game 3 from someone not named Draisaitl or McDavid.
Who is it going to be?

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

Despite how this series is going, I already know the only Skinner that’ll be replaced on this roster is Jeff Skinner. And it’ll be with an older, slower player who is on the wrong side of 34.

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

This is a sick man.

CONNOR MCDAVID HAS WON IT FOR CANADA!!! #4Nations

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

Please don’t ever tell me Bettman doesn’t hate Canada again. This man stays praying on our downfall!!

[B/R Open Ice @BR_OpenIce]

USA head coach Mike Sullivan says Quinn Hughes is coming to replace Charlie McAvoy for Thursday’s championship game 🚨

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

Brandon Saad, you are an Edmonton Oiler!

[Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC]

Saad will go on waivers again tomorrow to terminate the contract. Once he clears, he will be an unrestricted free agent

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

It’s giving

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

This is Cody Ceci’s fault.

[St. Louis Blues @StLouisBlues]

We have tendered offer sheets to Edmonton's Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway. #stlblues

gtfo out of here with this bullshit. He covered up sexual abuse and signed Seth Jones to that godawful contract.

[Edmonton Oilers @EdmontonOilers]

"I believe his vast experience & proven success in this role, together with the important work he has done in his time away from the game, fits our goal of being best in class when it comes to all facets of our organization." – #Oilers CEO Jeff Jackson on Stan Bowman

[Great Brown Sugar @abubakarima]

The Oilers front office seems incapable of not employing people involved with covering up sexual assault.

[Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC]

Hearing the Edmonton Oilers will hire Stan Bowman as GM today…media conference to be held sometime this morning.
