This Palestinian boy in Gaza broke down in tears after his glasses were damaged. Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and blockade on the entry of supplies, it may be impossible for him to replace the glasses.
If you're looking for a movie or series to watch over the weekend, I recommend "If You're Listening" by Matt Bevan. The series has 127 episodes so far, all available on YouTube for free. This is a thriller and a comedy and a little bit of documentarish.

If Ebola is in the DRC and America wants to contain the disease within the region, why not do it in the DRC? Why do they need to build facilities in Kenya? There is so much space there, too?
CS Murkomen: When I was in the Senate in the last administration, I was a very serious critic of the way the oil prices were being handled by the government. You should give us credit that no life was lost; we never organized a protest. The leaders of the matatu industry at that point in time never protested against the government. You should ask yourselves why did they feel that it was okay to understand Uhuru Kenyatta, but when it is President Ruto, they should go to the streets? There must be a certain level of profiling that applies to William Ruto and not Uhuru Kenyatta
Yet, by the end of the term, the supposed MP will comfortably afford a KES 60 million car. The government, in any third-world country, is a money-making machine for the elite. They keep the system barely functioning to mint as much as they can. But hey...
An MP in Kenya earns about KES 1 M minimum per month, that's 12 million per year and 60 million shillings by the end of their term. Let us be generous: for each year, you can add an additional million, bringing the total to about 72M. Clearly, there is no ROI in becoming an MP.
"Kubomolewa nyumba ya Ksh31,000,000 ni kitu kidogo, 2022 nilikuwa nataka bunge pale Ruaraka. Nilitumia pesa juu nilkuwa najua nitapata. I spent almost Ksh100,000,00, nikatolewa na ticket ya ODM ikapewa direct kwa TJ Kajwang'. Bado nitasimama 2027 na nitamnyorosha, haniwezi!"~Defao
