@Average_Jonas I view credit cards the same way I view a lot of gambling. You can do it responsibly but companies are trying as hard as possible to make sure you're not responsible. If you don't think you can trust yourself to be responsible then don't use them
@rowanfornow I saw a similar one with global cities that had Islamabad, Pakistan over Los Angeles and I just couldn't believe anyone could take it seriously. My best guess is their measuring system already accounts for COL
@primediscussion A video of her having sex with her boyfriend got leaked and mfs acting like that's HER fault? Genuinely insane I could not imagine having my privacy violated like that and then receiving hate for someone else's actions
@Zalaphrax To be fair the gpa primarily helps with in school opportunities and not so much outside opportunities. I had a 4.0 when applying for internships and the only time it ever came up was when the recruiter had a high GPA herself
@yurimaxed Said "self policing" is both inconsistent and disappears after they enter the frat. These men weren't freshman trying to join they were established members. It's not policing if it stops once you get into the frat, it's simply an immunity space
@Mr_Neutral_Man To be fair it's getting those kids to apply in the first place that's hard. Northeastern did that through focusing on achieving a lower acceptance rate but it's by no means a guarantee, and requires increased application volume which some schools may not be able to bring in
@EnkiWoundJob It depends on if your school has a lot of commuters, a lot of these apps are locked to people outside of the radius of the school. My school primarily used Reddit but I know a lot of smaller schools with dormers used these apps
@neerajadeshp@BeezyManzell But that's exactly it, they already have to do that through their AP exams. This would only serve to lower essay standards for no clear purpose?
@LinkofSunshine To be fair you can definitely get far more value from them than that but it requires a lot of work. The average consumer will probably just end up spending more and racking up debt instead of finding the mechanisms to hack them
@WildSentences Many people here don't understand the difference between firing and being told no. Being fired for it is a far bigger lawsuit than them just saying no to him
@Ogmaco1414@hotdgflvrdwtr@TifahCrump777 Tyga was an actual pedophile, I'd hope his career is ruined. Unfortunately it wasn't though, and he still had success while dating a literal child. The guy just fell off completely unrelated to him being a predator
@Neko_Tet Ok but it kinda did though, game prices have been behind inflation in a lot of cases. However, devs realized micro transactions were much more valuable than pure game sales. Some of the biggest games right now are free but can make their money through micro transactions
