CVE-2026-62379 lets an attacker send a crafted CustomCallback XML element to OpenAM's pre-auth endpoint, triggering arbitrary Java class instantiation and unsafe deserialization — no login required.

Enabling sunRemoteAuthSecurityEnabled won't save you; the vulnerable parsing happens before that check runs.

Fixed in OpenAM 16.1.2. Update now.

Critical Apple vulnerability affects six platforms at once.

CVE-2026-65414 (CVSS 9.8) is an out-of-bounds write in Apple's OS core, fixed across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Tahoe 26.7, macOS Sequoia 15.8, tvOS 27, visionOS 27 and watchOS 27. A remote attacker could exploit it to crash an app or execute arbitrary code.

No workaround exists — patching is the only fix.
