I compiled data on 109 projects running buybacks, including:
• cumulative buybacks
• buyback rate
• revenue
• other key metrics
TL;DR
Buybacks aren’t wrong. But two major issues remain:
1️⃣ At the market level, a self-cleansing mechanism is needed to fix the environment that fuels the “token is useless” narrative.
2️⃣ Revenue must grow to a point where Buybacks > Token Unlocks, otherwise projects can’t withstand sustained downside pressure.
