I've never imagined that a day would come when I'd have to dip my precious feet into dirty water like this.

I tried my best to look for a way to avoid it, but the water had covered every width and breadth of the road.

You wouldn't even be able to know where a gutter is or not. One man almost fell into a ditch in fact.

The country's lack of adequate drainage system, as well as the issues of indiscriminate dumping of refuse on roads, will definitely continue to lead to flooding.

In all of these, nothing pain me pass the feet wey I put inside that water.

It's giving me the nacebo effect, making me feel like I'm already getting sick.

My brother paid ₦750,000 rent in January.

By June, the landlord announced he had sold the house and everyone must leave within one month.

He wasn't even talking about refunding the remaining months people had already paid for.
The landlord just dropped the news and that was it.

When the tenants started asking questions, the landlord said the sale was "beyond his control." He said the new owner had his own plans for the property.

The new owner also said that whatever agreement existed between the tenants and the former landlord was not his problem.

Now the tenants have three weeks to find new apartments, pay new agents, and move out. Some of them who are thinking of suing are even already discouraged by the money and time it will take.
