@travisakers nah. just another liberal fear-mongering tactic. voting third party does not take away anyone’s votes. a vote for kamala or trump is an endorsement of genocide
As the seventeen concert movie screening is a few weeks away, we’ve been seeing a lot of people wondering why we’re encouraging others to #BoycottFollowAgain, and what exactly artwashing is.. So here is a thread explaining just that!

Prop K has multigenerational impact, but this initiative is largely being led by El Pasoans under 30.
If corporations pretend to care about retaining young talent in El Paso, maybe they shouldn’t pour millions into stopping a policy that would create thousands of jobs for them.
What Prop K does is not radical by policy standards - it won’t immediately turn El Paso into the green utopia of oil oligarch’s nightmares.
What it DOES do is open a conversation for how that might some day be possible. It gives the people a voice and that is why they’re scared.
@j0e1ski@darth_wuicho777 @SunriseElPaso @GroundGameTX Hi! Prop K would require a few thousand tax dollars. However, this cost does not mean a tax increase. It would require a reallocation of the City Government’s existing tax revenue and state/federal grants. Check out our FAQ about taxpayers for more info: https://t.co/Yw20His4sj
@marwilliamson I don’t believe the settler-colonial state nature of electoralism will save us, but I think the role you’re playing is valuable so please be mindful of what/WHO you’re amplifying.
@marwilliamson your talk at the Native American Presidential Forum was powerful in that you acknowledged that indigenous voices are the first to know how to align ourselves with each other and the planet, and should be the ones leading the struggle. i hope that you walk that talk. #LandBack
