@poteto@bot So @spacexai built its own model that’s nowhere near GPT-level, acquired @cursor_ai despite Composer not exactly being a standout, and now you’re routing to other models? 😂
You were already relying on other models anyway. This banter is going to be hilarious. @poteto
Not only was a new account of mine banned for no reason. Now I can’t use my Grokbot subscription because it’s tied to one account per @xai@cursor_ai term. I’ve messaged @xai and @cursor_ai since Friday, but nothing has been accomplished. I even asked them to move my Grokbot subscription to a new Cursor account, but I still haven’t heard back.
The more you overthink an artistic idea, the more you risk draining it of what made it exciting in the first place.
At some point, you have to stop evaluating and start making.

What’s going on with Cursor and Grok right now? I haven’t seen any official communication about the issue, so I’m wondering if only a small number of users are affected.
Why permanently link and lock one Grok bot to one Cursor account? If a Cursor account is deactivated, the Grok bot should still remain usable, especially when the Grok subscription is separate.
How long will it take to fix this? Will affected users get a usage/bank reset for the usage they lost? OpenAI and Anthropic reset usage when problems occur, so why doesn’t xAI/Grok have something similar?
Please communicate with your users instead of leaving everyone guessing. If users are affected by a service issue, at least provide a usage reset or some form of compensation. What’s going on?
