@JAEbberts we are naturally dogmatic. we cling to our beliefs and are proud of it. It’s why we all use Plato’s allegory of the cave to prove us right and other wrong, not realizing we are also stuck facing the wall. We are naturally dogmatic because it feels like it will keep us safe.

as the co-dependency wears off that we learned from the church (I need those I love to believe the same as me) we wake up, again. Sometimes a bit frantic trying to figure this wake/dream state, how to just wake up permanently. 👇

@Bmmoody @cwillardsmoot im late. this is one of my biggest issues. as a missionary I taught purpose of prophets to be ahead of the game. mormon prophets have a pattern of being behind on many social issues, most recently lgbtq. why are sectarian beliefs more enlightened than gods church?
