LAPSE SOLD! โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Congratulations and huge thanks to the Anon Collector. Feel free to reach out, if you have any questions or you'd like a teleburn.
I'd also like to thank @Shendrik_NFT, @MCHX17, @ilyabliznets and the @accomparts team for the invitation to the Searching for Balance exhibition. It was a nice challenge to face the topic and a great pleasure!
What a day!
What happens to attention when the gesture meant to focus it becomes a gesture of distraction?
In Lapse, every swipe changes what you see.
An organic field of movement is interrupted by rectangular frames โ like photographs, pictures, or fragments of a social media feed.
There is no sudden spectacle.
No dramatic transition.
Just another image.
And another.
The work uses the mechanics of scrolling without offering a usual reward.
The question is not what appears next.
It is whether we still need to see what appears next.
โผ๏ธ breaking my year-long twitter silence โผ๏ธ just to share this lil thing i minted on @ourZORA today.
i've been getting deep into generative art over the past few months, documenting some experiments on farcaster, and have finally minted and promoted this first piece. fun!!!!!!
