I can talk about the money & time wasted due to the Republican block of Parole in Place. But it all seems insignificant compared to the heartbreak we feel for my husband. 34+ ys in this country, married to a U.S. citizen, parent of 2 citizens, & condemned to live in the shadows.

Academics, what are some iPad apps you use? Feeling like an old person asking this but I only use my personal iPad to watch stuff 🫣 my university bought me a mini one & I want to actually use it for work stuff

@KobysKing The new faculty asked me what my emergency plan was for earthquakes. Told them I’ve been living here for 24 years without one, that I can only remember a couple of bad ones. We had an earthquake that same day (last week) & I felt so bad for them 🫣

Really thinking I should just quit this tenure track job and open a taco truck called the “taco track” instead
