What makes this playtime so valuable? Parent being present. The child is seeking the parents Attention, Approval & Praise. That’s the Gift to Parents this Holiday Season. Understanding your Child’s constant need for you to be present. A little 3yr old doesn’t play with a Ball like this when nobody is watching. You must be present!

Also, a small Child trying to control an Object with their feet, a Ball, turns this into a Mental Task. The movement makes it a Physical Task. Combine the two together and you are super charging the Brain. The Brain loves to learn while moving.

This also allows the Cerebellum to create a chemical signature of this experience which is an emotional connection. A Parent sharing this experience makes it a social interaction as well. The child is screaming out for attention. Emotions are thought to be the on off switch for learning. Every thought we have has a biological consequence. ⚽️🧠
