@wartranslated I know RU does way worse. I know that the US has carved out its own exceptions to IHL, and that is wrong and we bear the shame of that. And I don’t have the standing to judge combat soldiers. But we should try to do better.

@wartranslated This man is a POW, regardless of his status in a PMC. He is answering in accordance with International Humanitarian Law, which explicitly makes no allowance for the removal of his rights under the Geneva Convention. Using violence to question him is a grave breach of IHL.

@rfhirst I would have to back William of Normandy. Yes his claim to the throne is weaker than Edgar’s, but the claim to English kingship at the time was more complicated than bloodline. Partially elective, partially pragmatic, partially legal claim. William is the most practical choice.

@LethalityJane The ACOG practice bulletin on weight gain in pregnancy is pretty helpful. 25-42 lbs is the recommended weight gain for BMI >30 in a twin gestation. Weight gain in pregnancy can be a tough conversation, excessive or insufficient weight gain each have risks
