If you are looking for cook books as Christmas gifts this year. I can highly recommend these two. Shereen has a great mix of quick meals and thjse you can take time over. Nadia's passion for pasta is on every page. Great techniques and advice for making perfect past dishes.

In addition to all the wonderful childhood memories I have of him reading to me via Jackanory, for me @BernardCribbins will always be Dangerous Davies - The Last Detective. A wonderful portrayal of the character with an equally wonderful cast. A who's who of British talent.

I don't know why, but I've been listening to Linger by the Cranberries over and over for the last couple of weeks. Lots of different recordings and a few cover versions. The acoustic cover by @therunningm8s on YouTube is beautiful.
