Sometimes a change of heart is brewed one small act of kindness at a time. In Moldova, Milana declined invitations from leaders at her neighboring Convoy of Hope program center. Then one day, she said yes. Now, over cups of tea, she has found community for herself and her granddaughter as well. Read her story here: https://t.co/gRVZZEdcgC

Even short-term trips can leave a lasting impact. 💙
When Jordan and Devin went with Convoy of Hope on a Field Teams trip to Nicaragua, they were looking for ways to serve. Along with work and parenthood, they wanted to give back.
During their trip, they were struck by how inexpensive things seemed, and what felt affordable to them was out of reach for many Nicaraguans. That realization changed their perspective.
Since returning home, Jordan and Devin have chosen to downsize and have gotten deeply involved in serving in their community.

Help that stays ♥️🚚 As Hurricane Melissa hits the Bahamas, we're reminded of another response there that provided hope in the midst of chaos.
After Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas in 2019, those left were trying to recover their lives, many dealing with loss of crops and even more left homeless.
Convoy of Hope not only responded to the initial destruction, but stayed in the Bahamas for over five years after Dorian, providing not only resources but training to start again.
"I couldn't believe that Convoy of Hope was so ready," said Pastor Robert Lockhart. "For us, it was a miracle."
Now, with your help, we're ready to bring help and hope to Jamaica for the long haul. Learn more at https://t.co/NkKZD0saMU.

“ @AmericanAir our plane AA 704 has been on the ground since last night at 6:25pm and the plane is still not fixed I’ve been sitting on a broken aircraft for over 3 hours. Just to be told we’re pushing back and now we’re going back to the gate. Please let me off and I’ll rebook.
The numbers are staggering, but change is possible. 👇
In 2022, reports showed that 37.9 million people in the U.S. were living below the poverty line, despite more than $26 trillion in spending to fight poverty over the past 60 years.
The challenges are significant, but there is a part we can all play to change these numbers and help those who are hurting.
Convoy of Hope is committed to helping communities rise above generational poverty through providing resources and training to local community leaders. We also equip these groups with practical resources — such as food, water, supplies, shelter, and more — to meet the needs of their local communities.
