Doxy-PEP是使用 Doxycycline（多喜黴素）這種抗生素作為暴露後預防性投藥，能夠為特定高風險群體（如男同性戀、雙性戀男性及其他與男性發生性關係的男性，以及跨性別女性），定期使用可減少新感染的發生率。

預防效果:
雖則使用Doxy-PEP可以有效預防減少梅毒與衣原體的感染，但是對於淋病的預防並不全然有效。而且Doxy PEP 不能預防猴痘、HPV、疱疹、HIV 或其他病毒感染。這是一種”預防”性病的方式，但不是用來治療性病。

如何使用:
使用的口訣是「3-2-1」，也就是「性行為後三天內，同時服用兩顆，一次服用即可」。

此外，錯誤使用抗生素有可能讓某些細菌產生抗藥性，治療效果可能下降。任何檢驗有梅毒、淋病、衣原體陽性，也應停止服用，並接受治療。雖然現今藥物發展迅速， 但不是萬能， 同時會有相應副作用，安全套仍是預防性傳播感染最有效的方法，Doxy-PEP 應作為預防STIs 其中一個方法，而非替代品。

有高風險性行為族群可以了解呢種藥物嘅使用方式，另外, 都要定期3-6個做快速測試, 好好保護自己同伴侶嘅健康。
