Customers are being targeted by scammers/malware attacks via web browsers. A pop-up appears claiming to be Central Access asking you to click the link and provide information, giving the perpetrator access to your machine. Central Access DOES NOT utilize pop-ups or solicit info.

Scam alert! A vigilant customer in Plantersville alerted us of individuals posing as Central Access employees asking for a deposit to have their internet installation processed faster. NOT TRUE. We won't contact you via phone or in person asking for deposits for fiber service.
Several customers reported they cannot reach us via phone. Several wireless carriers are experiencing issues due to the storms impacting the Southeast this week. Our lines working, if you can't get through please attempt another phone or landline.
A car hit a pole resulting in damage to our fiber lines in northern Autauga County -- impacting 380 services. Once the pole is reset, we will begin repairs, but it may take until noon tomorrow to complete. We thank you for your patience as we work as quickly as we can.

We're down to 400 customers without service. Crews have repairing mainline fiber as well as individual drops. We expect to be <300 customers and will work to get everyone on. If your power is on but your internet is still out, call 1-888-706-4754, option 3 if you haven't done so.
3 PM: We have 1,100 customers without fiber service, including customers out of power. Crews continue to rehang, splice & repair fiber. We estimate to have the majority of services restored Saturday night into early Sunday. We thank you for your patience.
@lakemann374 We do have mainline damage in that area, we are working on it but due to the damage we estimate within 72 hours or less. Hopefully less. 🤞
We have widespread outages from today's severe weather event. Coosa County is down due to mainline damage feeding that area, but crews are working and it should be up shortly. Those who have had their power restored but still have an internet outage, please call 1-888-706-4754.
