If our leaders were honest with Canadians and willing to call things by their proper name, they would speak plainly and directly.
The alarming rise in antisemitism across Canada is being fueled, in large part, by radical Islamic extremism.
More political leaders need to acknowledge this reality, condemn it unequivocally, and outline concrete steps to confront and defeat this hatred before it's too late.

There are certain conversations Canada keeps avoiding because they are uncomfortable.
Jesse Kline (@accessd) deserves credit for having one of them.
🧵His analysis is blunt, factually grounded, and necessary...
🔴 What @MarkJCarney didn't say is anything about Islamic extremism, the foreign-funded campaign that’s driving anti-Jewish hate or the groups that have been organizing the protests.

As Jesse Kline (@accessd) points out in the @nationalpost, @MarkJCarney asking Canadians to be better isn't enough; it won't change the minds of those who think shooting at Jewish schools or vandalizing Jewish businesses is acceptable behaviour.
What we need are real steps to stop the indoctrination and radicalization taking place on social media, in parts of our education system, and within extremist networks in Canada that normalize antisemitism, glorify terrorism, and encourage intimidation of Jewish Canadians.

The Carney government's spring economic update predicts that the deficit will come in $11 billion lower than expected, but it's still near record highs. Find out just how large the federal government has grown under the Liberals: https://t.co/E4X0Ciruag
The Liberals have taken Lt.-Cmdr. Scott's “miracle worker” lesson to heart, only instead of saving the ship, they’re gaslighting Canadians about how much water it’s taking on.

💰 If you ever wondered why you use financial advisors with decades of experience to manage your investments instead of the accountants in Ottawa who couldn’t balance a chequebook if their lives depended on it, @MarkJCarney has a deal for you.

🇨🇦 Rather than unifying the country, @MarkJCarney took "a page out of Tonya Harding’s playbook, kneecapping his opponent and turning off voters who do not like his underhanded tactics."
