The entire group with all of the subcommittees and executive board convene annually in the spring for education sessions and partnering on projects which provide a means to unite us as a conference and together continue to build and evolve our performance team platforms.
There are 8 subcommittees (of the groups all listed above) that meet on a regular basis and an executive board with representation from each member school and each subcommittee that meet monthly to discuss items related to student athlete health and safety.
This group helps to advise the conference on a diverse assortment of health and safety issues and collaborates to share standards of care that ensure each student athlete is provided with performance team resources that meet or exceed national benchmarks.
The ACC Health and Safety Committe is made up of Team Physicians, Athletic Trainers, Dieticians, Mental Health Clinicians, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Sports Scientists and Physical Therapists.
