The endless sampling. The repetition. The manual work. The exhaustion it took to turn one idea into a finished product.
That curiosity eventually pulled me into fashion tech - and into building tools, communities and new ways of working.
So when FLORA launched Fashion Studio, it felt less like discovering a new tool and more like coming back to the question that made me leave design in the first place: what could fashion look like if we built it differently?
I took a piece of history and asked: what if this became fashion? 🖤
Built this in FLORA Fashion Studio - turning an archival visual language into a full look, from the denim to the bag.
This is what I love about AI in fashion: not replacing the designer, but making the jump from reference → imagination → reality much faster.
8th place at the FLORA × The Met Museum Challenge! 🤖🌼
I took 5,000 years of human craft and asked: what happens when we start designing for bodies that aren’t human?
That became my exploration of robotic skins + clothing.
#FLORAMuseum#FLORA#TheMet
Five thousand years of people ornamenting the shells they built for a head. Cretan bronze, Nasrid gold, Milanese steel, Edgefield stoneware.
Robots today are flat, bland and matte. So I gave them The Met's archive as skin each head is one object, transferred whole then dressed them in printed chiffon.
We design for women, men, kids. Robotic clothing is next.

I didn’t leave fashion because I stopped loving fashion. I left because I loved it enough to see what was broken.
Too much manual work. Too much repetition. Too many people running on exhaustion just to get an idea from sketch to sample.
That’s what pulled me into fashion tech.
So when FLORA launched Fashion Studio, I didn’t just want to try it.
I wanted to build with it.
Designers & fashion-tech people in Bangalore -where were you?! 👀
We just did Fashion in the Age of AI with @kushagra_swami1 , @floraai + @Higgsfield AI.
Real workflows. Real tools. Fashion e-commerce, visuals, avatars, content - not just another “AI is changing fashion” talk.
The room was packed with some seriously interesting people building in this space.
If you missed this one…
you really missed it.
More coming btw.
Designers: if your entire Twitter feed, Slack and calendar is just other designers talking about design… you might be in a bubble.
The best ideas for your work often come from people who don’t think like you - founders, engineers, PMs, growth folks and AI builders.
That’s why i am partnering with one of the biggest events around for designers!! and you need to check this out.
25–26 Sept | RMZ Ecoworld, Bengaluru

Designers, stop only going to design conferences.
Some of the most useful things you’ll learn for your design career will come from founders, engineers, PMs, growth people and AI builders.
That’s why I’m excited for The Great Product Festival 2026 in Bengaluru.
Not a design conference.
Exactly the point.

Designers need to step outside the design bubble sometimes.
See how founders think. Understand what product teams are building. Listen to where AI is actually heading.
Then bring those perspectives back into your work.
Big shoutout to Swati Awasthi & Amrit Raj for putting this together.

One thing I’ve realised as a designer:
Some of the best things I’ve learned about design didn’t come from other designers.
They came from founders, engineers, PMs, growth folks and people building things completely outside my bubble.
That’s why I’m excited about this one

Accio is a Community Partner for The Great Product Festival 2026 - 25–26 Sept, Bengaluru.
Product, AI, Growth + Startups. People from Anthropic, Google, Meta, Databricks, Salesforce, Freshworks, Sarvam, Razorpay and more.
It’s not a design conference.
Honestly, that’s the point.
In 8th grade, my friends and I dyed our hair.
Pink. Red. Brown.
I chose electric blue. With confidence. 😭 So when I found this 18th-century carpet in The Met’s archive, covered in these gorgeous geometric floral patterns, my first thought was:
I want this on my hair. Not the colour. The pattern.
It made me realise that with AI making it easier to execute almost any idea, the interesting part is becoming the weird little leap between seeing something and imagining what else it could be.
Anyway, I now need a salon willing to turn an antique carpet into a hairstyle

What happens when fashion meets AI?
On Sept 5, we’re gathering in Bangalore to explore that question.
From AI-powered fashion e-commerce to creative exploration, fashion design and visual storytelling - Fashion in the Age of AI is a space to learn, experiment and connect with others curious about the future of fashion.
Would love to see you there ✨
