This song was inspired by a documentary called Streetwise. It’s about these Seattle kids living their lives on the streets. Paving their own way of life. There’s a scene where one boy is talking to a girl in an abandoned hotel. She’s professing her love to him, and he’s worrying about, everything else in his life. And she’s head over heels for him. I thought that was such a lovely fragment of time. I found it really inspiring and based it all around that one scene. This is Streetwise #ORDERchaosORDER

One last rant.

This is my sincerest take on what it is like to feel alive and to have experienced a spectrum of deeply coloured emotions throughout it all.

It really wasn’t possible without a lot of people as I didn’t have all the answers. I found a lot of guidance and comfort in these people. I love you and owe you more than you probably know.

I hope this album lives with you on long drives at night when you’re trying to clear your head. Or fills a space that brings you closer to yourself or a loved one. Or something else that sounds cool. Do whatever you like. It’s yours now.

The loss and destruction of the past few weeks are unimaginable, and yet I've been amazed by the generosity and love that's been poured into the LA community during such tragedy. Thank you to all who donate, volunteer or fight the actual flames themselves.. love and prayers.
