for very much being on the lawful good end of the deadlock character spectrum, his reason for being in the ritual is quite selfish. Marla loves him as he is, and he's risking widowing her for something it's not even fully clear she wants. My favourite part of his character tbh.

This is by no means to say dynamo’s a bad guy, Maximilian Fairfax aside he’s a class act, but the dissonance there is a very interesting bit of characterization to me

@JNojustn It’s certainly not ignoble or anything, but I think it’s a very interesting aspect of his character that, for how much he talks about doing it for Marla, which I fully believe is genuine, she married him with the body he has now, and might well not want him to risk his life-

@mintybenty I think what people don’t get is that she’s not a girlfailure but a vampirefailure, her entire conceit is that she’s already climbed the human social ladder, and now has to do it all over again with vampire society, and she’s not prepared for it/bad at it

@LARPo_Marx @komradekhris I disagree, if everything about Doom Eternal was the same except it was exclusively rendered with Roblox textures, it would be a much less appealing experience. I'm also not sure I agree that gunfeel is less subjective, its quite hard to quantify.
