@henrywinter Really hope the authorities can get on top of the stoppages. Tot v Ev was painful to watch for large parts, game stopped for several mins at a time, multiple times. Aim should be have ball back in play no more than 30 seconds after going out or after a foul.
@henrywinter If this is such an affront to football, why is it permitted at all? The 72 hour threshold implies the clubs want to be able to spy, and the league content to let them, up to a point. So what Saints breached was a technicality, the outrage and punishment are disproportionate
@henrywinter So you're allowed to do this stuff, just not within 72 hours? What we're talking about here then is a technicality, in which case the punishment seems massively disproportionate. If he'd been there on Weds no prob, but on Thurs you get expelled from comp and a points penalty?
@henrywinter I can get the accident argument, with the deflection. But when you get such an advantage from the ball having hit the arm, it can't be ignored. The arm has enabled him to stop and control the ball
@henrywinter Sitting down on the pitch should not be a signal to stop the game, play should continue until ball goes out of play.
Free kicks to be taken as soon as the awarded team wants to, no waiting around for walls to be organised.
@MoneySavingExp There ought to be legislation that triggers an automatic change onto a SIM only package once the initial contract has expired. For someone to be moved from ยฃ29 to ยฃ6 a month means they had already paid off the handset but the company gets to keep taking the same money
@RorySmith It has Scottish Premier league vibes. Two clubs did everything possible to remove any threat or competitiveness and then complained the lack of competition was holding them back. Champions league in danger of going the same way.
@therestismoney
In today's episode you talked about salary sacrifice, but focused solely on pensions. Working people with children also use SS schemes to pay towards childcare. Capping this is effectively a tax on working people, which they said they wouldn't do
@DanNeidle In the past when SD has been paused, it's created bubbles that pushed prices up. Because people knew it was temporary. Do we have the data to know what would likely happen to prices if the tax is permanently abolished along with the time pressure to get sales completed?
@MoneySavingExp I attempted to haggle but in the end decided to leave. And won't be going back. The best stuff is either on free to air channels or other subscriptions. Sky is otherwise 300 channels of rubbish
@RorySmith But the players are happy with the security of a multi year contract when they're either injured or out of favour. Going on strike because suddenly the multi year contract is an inconvenience, is a very bad look
