I want to say I love Locavore but their Solo To Go meals are just weirdly paired. Each food is good on its own but just doesn't go well together. And that's the thing: in theory, it feels like it should - porkchop and kalabasa, fried chicken and pusit... But, wellsz.
Rules of #GagCity
1. No being mean to other residents but you can be mean to outside ppl.
2. Your makeup, hair, clothes & shoes all go on by 1 touch of a button. Thatโs how we have the outsiders gagging all the time.
3. Upon landing, you receive a mansion, car & canned goods
Again, we know where we rank. And, yay, we're not dead last unlike last 2018. But maybe now's the time to drill down on the things pulling us down and try to figure out how best to act on those.
5. OUR KIDS ARE BULLIED AT SCHOOL! We're #1 in terms of students being bullied. Around 35% of Filipino students say that they are frequently bullied at school. Was this something that our culture has enabled? What should our schools and our government be doing?
6. OUR KIDS ARE SAD! We're #1 in terms of feeling lonely at school. Around 30% or Filipino students say that they feel lonely. Are our schools equipped to handle loneliness? Is this a result of a lack of focus on mental health?
4. OUR PARENTS ARE WELL-INFORMED! We're #1 in terms of being told about our kids' performance. 90% of Filipino students' parents receive information at least once a month. How do we make this information actionable on the end of the parents?
Okay. PISA 2022 results are out. Clearly, we have an education crisis so no point repeating what's being reported regarding our low rank. At this point, I think we'd also need to highlight a couple of things: ๐งต
3. OUR KIDS ARE DISTRACTED! We're #9 in terms of digital distraction. 40% of Filipino students say that they're distracted by their devices during their lessons. What can schools do to maximize the use of digital to enable learning instead of just being a distraction?
2. OUR KIDS ARE HUNGRY! We're #3 in terms of percentage of hungry students. Almost 40% of Filipino students reported not having eaten in the past 30 days because of they do not have money. This is not just an education issue anymore. This is also a socioeconomic issue.
1. OUR GOVERNMENT IS NOT SPENDING ENOUGH PER STUDENT! We're second to the last in terms of cumulative expenditure per student. How do we demand this government to allocate more on education instead of other non-priority funds?
Good take, bad example. Product (full cream vs filled) + ingredients list are different. Maybe that's why he didn't post the Alaska ingredients list? ๐คท
Alpine and Alaska Classic are essentially the same product. Exact same taste as they are now manufactured by the same company. But, Alpine is sold more than P10 pesos higher than Alaska.
The evil of branding.
@dumidyeypee While I do agree na may education crisis, baka better to wait for the 2022 results na ipapublish sa December 5 bilang 2018 results ito. Fingers crossed na may improvement.
I'm glad that a lot of folks here on Twitter love Replacing Chef Chico. I wanted to like it - I'm a simple man, pag andyan si Alessandra, papapanoorin natin yan - but I couldn't get past the first episode so baka hindi lang ako ang target market. Pasensya. :(
