We work hard to hoard things in this life.
The irony is that when we die, we won’t take anything with us except that which we had given!
Though charity seems to be for the poor, in reality it is for us.
A good word may please those whom we said it to, but it is actually for us as well.
When we mend a broken heart and make them feel better, we are benefiting ourselves.
Those who work relentlessly to serve others and give them a helping hand, they are making their affairs easy on the Day of Judgment.
Allah says:”If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to them [i.e., yourselves]." 17:7

'Whenever I supplicate to Allah for a need and He grants it to me, I rejoice once. But if He does not grant it to me, I rejoice ten times over. This is because the first was my own choice, whereas the second was Allah's choice for me.'"

In jannah, we will never be separated. We will no longer fear distance, death, life's circumstances. There will be no jealousy, no sleep, and no fatigue. There is no crying, no wounds, no tears, no pain, and no hardships.
In Jannah, we will see Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
A brother has made an excellent tool for students of Assim Al-Hakeem that searches through the Shaykh’s authentic written fatwas and official YouTube answers all in one place:

A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) asking permission to go for jihad. The Prophet asked him: "Are your parents alive?" When the man said yes, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Then strive in their service" (Sahih al-Bukhari 3004, Sahih Muslim 2549). Brothers and sisters, you can earn paradise in the room next to yours. Call your mother, sit with your father, and do not waste a door Allah has placed in your own home.
Though they were prophets and messengers of Allah, they were humans and had feelings like us.
Mosa feared, Ayyoub fell ill for a number of years, Ya’qoub was saddened over losing his children till he got blind, Yunus was remorseful, Loot was tested with a disbelieving wife while Yusuf was tested with the betrayal of his own siblings and Nooh lost both his wife and son when they rejected his message and refused to accept Islam, May peace and blessing of Allah be upon them all.
Allah consoles His messenger Mohammed salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam by saying:”And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart.”
Therefore, be patient and be firm. Many of the feelings you are going through today, a prophet of Allah had gone through it before you.
“And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.” [Hud: 115]
A reminder for every tired heart and every striving soul: Stay patient. Stay firm. Stay true.
“And fear a Day when no soul will avail another, nor will any intercession be accepted from it, nor any ransom be taken from it, nor will they be helped.” [Al‑Baqara: 48]
A reminder for every heart to prepare for a day when all masks will fall. 🧵(1/4)
Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Read the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection."
[Muslim].
