While teachers salaries have gone up slightly, the increase in spending largely due to new hires due to class size decreases and caps k-3.

You can’t get rid of the one secretary or one janitor so where does the money come from? Technology? support staff? Building repairs? Training?

The total represents the cost of all staff, facilities, materials, administration... etc. 300kids x $54 less means $16k less funding for the year.
