We're winning huge. It's a really bad day for wokie game devs:
- All their AAA games like Concord, Star Wars Outlaws, and Dragon Age are falling flat on their faces or underperforming.
- The chuds are buying non-woke games like Wukong, Stellar Blade in record numbers.
- They are having their biggest layoffs in gaming history in the West while based Asian studios are going public and hiring like crazy.
- Trump gets elected and they go into an absolutely hysterical mental health crisis.
We're winning so much right now. Keep fighting!
Everybody fights, nobody quits!
the golden joystick awards is pretending that Wukong doesn't exist, a game that sold 20 million copies in less than a month and is highly appreciated among gamers.
also pretending that Space Marine 2, another extremely well-received game, doesn't exist.
funny, because both Space Marine 2 and Wukong showed the middle finger to DEI and political correctness bullshit and just cared about making a good, fun game - and they got it right.
these awards are not for people who love video games
Konami made a post that said "See how the Bloober Team devs working on SILENT HILL 2 preserved authenticity while adapting a horror classic for MODERN AUDIENCES."
They took it down.
The Blooper Team hired Hit Detection, a SBI style consulting firm that helps ruin games with their DEI agenda.
Microsoft is about to learn an Ubisoft lesson. These are the people in charge of Halo now.
It's cooked. Dead. Beyond recovery. Pin this tweet. Halo is GONE.
Ubisoft attacking gamers for Assassin's Creed Shadow's poor reception. They say they respect Japan but make no mention of how they:
1) Stole a Japanese re-enactment groups banner and published it in an art book even after being told of the "error."
2) Used Chinese art in a Japanese game.
3) Used a sword from One Piece and claimed it was Yasuke's at an exhibit.
4) Got all of Japan wrong, from crops in season to sizes of tatami mats.
5) Put a hip hop beat to Yasuke beating up Japanese villagers with curb stomps.
The list goes on and on, but they would rather blame online "trolls." The publication in the New York Times is deliberate. This is a message to investors, not to gamers. They are worried about their stock.
The new NPC marching orders have come out:
Woke, definitely "not-racist" DEI journalists @Paultassi and woke grifter @mightykeef are now...being actually racist by calling out Black Myth: Wukong because it's popular with Chinese.
Does China not count as real gamers?
I don't see how that diminishes the game's success in any way. Even at non-peak, when China is asleep, the game is doing 247,000 users (more than half of Helldivers peak popularity and 10x it's current), and US hasn't hit the weekend yet.
For all games sold, even global western games, China is the biggest market. No doubt Wukong is a cultural phenomenon in China, but trying to say "it doesn't count because they are Chinese" as if Chinese gamers are somehow "lesser" is the type of casual racism that these DEI defenders claim to be against.
Hypocrites.
