@punt_rd Underrated song: hardly played live at all. Song got lost in the shuffle when other releases came out later. I think the first time I heard it live was ‘93 when they weren’t supporting a CD. I’m glad they redid the song acoustically. One of favorites.
@therealsybare@timkawakami Disagree, the Wizards waved him too, and later had that Target shoplifting charged against him. He later admitted he needed to grow up and mature.
@LockedOnSharks …and we hope he doesn’t have to use that “half season” flip skill again as a Sharks GM. Every move should be a bridge or more importantly a long term acquisition piece towards the Cup. Sharks are in trouble if GMMG has to resort to this again.
@KNBR Good hustle Devers. You could have dogged it and gave it the routine 5-3 putout. I saw you moving quick out of the box, keep on doing that, and make perspectives change how people see you. FYI: JT Snow would have picked it and save the run and error.
@RiotRoger@dieter 49ers ‘86 draft, Walsh started with only one pick in the first 4 rounds. Made 6 trades and got Haley (Hall of fame), Taylor, Rathman, Wallace, McKyer and Griffin *all* at the 3rd round or lower. 8 starters in total that won SB 23. Bill Walsh: the standard.
@sportslarryk You are trading low on him. Warriors were winning when he was healthy. Foul magnet when you need someone to hit free throws. Is a winner and noted to put a team in his back when needed.
@Coach_Yac@VicTafur@49erswebzone@grantcohn Move the team back to SF proper, landfill/reclaim land from Candlestick and build the new retractable stadium and retail center. Build the new practice facility at Presidio, GG bridge backdrop for press conferences. Players live and patronize City.
@ByMMonreal Within the next couple of years, you got Gonzalez, Hernandez, and Level (hopefully) covering that position. Adams’s was an overpay because Star free agents hitters are smart not to sign here!
@BontaHill …but 37,000+ “fans” still go to the games, that number is more important to ownership than wins and losses! Money lining their own pockets. Observant Random: Video filmed I-280 Southbound in Daly City, John Daly to Serramonte Center.
@BontaHill Watching the World Cup is better than this Giants disaster! Stop financially supporting this team, ownership just wants to buy another Curran Theater than investing in winning.
@giantssfcentral The Jonathan Kuminga of the Giants, all this arm talent but nothing between the ears. Forgetting to cover first base, leaving 0-2 pitches down the middle or hanging. Consistency was his problem just like Kuminga.
@DeposedRoyalty@dieter It’s nice to draft a generational player and have a few high draft picks makes it a lot easier. Also, having an owner who has a history to spend to win doesn’t hurt either.
@KC_Hushie@dieter Wilson wanted to keep the train going and win one for Plattner who opened his checkbook. Wilson’s problem was his draft and development since 2017 which ruined the team. A lot of us want to see Plattner, who’s 82 years old, win one before it’s too late.
@dieter BPA = Stenberg, he and McKenna were the only 2 Tier A draft level players. Stenberg putting up one of best numbers playing against men in probably the 2nd best league after the NHL. Did great in Worlds. Everyone changed their mind to Reid because SJ got the second pick.
