At Imjin Barracks, 5 young individuals were appointed as Lord Lieutenantโs Cadets by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire. This honour recognises exceptional leadership and service within cadet forces.

Swimming competition.
Saturday 4th November 2023.
We did well at swimming, with only 4 cadets.
We walked away with 3 Golds, 3 Silvers and 1 Bronze medal ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
We' have Cdt Barnes - Cinderford selected for Nationals and Cdt Grant - Lydney reserve for Nationals

Double the support yesterday as Lydney Platoon joined forces with the Forest of Dean Sea Cadets to raise money for the Poppy Appeal #collaborative ๐บ๐๐ค
Yesterday, the Forest Platoonโs spent the day at @Nat_Mem_Arb ahead of Remembrance Day.
We were treated to a WW2 tour and then a trip on the Land Train.
It was another amazing visit, everyone learnt something new and had an opportunity to spend time exploring ๐บ #acf

This week Lydney Platoon were also visited by the โinspire to engageโ team.
They were made welcome and everyone had so much fun, the team took control of the whole evening, using various team building games that involved everyone, what a fab night ๐ #acf#inspiretoachieve

Cadet LCpl Green unfortunately fainted whilst on parade and suffered significant facial injuries. Despite this, she was stoic, remaining in good humour, a shining example of courage, well done ๐
