My son’s claim was denied multiple times while his father’s was approved. This does not make sense. The lack of consistency and clarity in processing the APPR claims is concerning and putting a sour taste in our mouth for future Westjet travel.

Dear @WestJet Can someone explain to me how it is possible for a father and son to be on the same flight, experience the same delays for the same reason and one be compensated under APPR and the other be repeatedly denied?

the originally scheduled itinerary; a delay that originated in leaving Fort McMurray. Since returning home numerous people from the group have submitted APPR claims, with some being approved no issue and others being denied.
