*pg = papergames, commonly known as infold in global

shaw was introduced in 2019 and pg was so wishy-washy on how to implement the new LI into the game. lol in some of the limited banners, he wasn't even included. however, pg's failure to implement him properly into the game wasn't the reason the global game shut down in the first place. mlqc is still operating cn servers

pg literally nerfed their global fanbase when they abruptly fired one of their VAs over political reasons. when they fired the VA, the rest of the VA cast collectively decided to terminate their contracts with the game. the public response was so bad, many global players left the game and elex (the company that manages the global servers for pg) struggled to replace the VAs since then & even decided to cut out VAs entirely bc of lack of budget. this is one of the reasons LADS doesn't allow their VAs to be publicly known actually.

the en server also shut down earlier this yr bc it wasn't profiting like it used to. sea server shut down like ages ago for the same reason so this isn't even relevant. i believe kr/jp servers are still running tho, but don't quote me on that.

i understand everyone's frustrated @ pg based on the current events but let's not spread misinformation.

@feralkuromi lol i don't even have faith in them and i've been a longtime player of both games 😭 tho i will say, i really wish current devs learned from mlqc devs bc mlqc updated their ms every 3mo? it was great tbh, really wish lads would do the same instead of using a new LI to update ms
