🏙🇺🇳 Last month, Maj. Gen. Patrick Gauchat visited our exhibition on UN Peace Missions at the UNHQ in New York while attending a high-level peacekeeping symposium on the occasion of the International Day of UN Peacekeeping.
A wonderful day discussing the future of #UN#peace and #security engagements in a changing world with a great group of IR and peace scholars, policy-makers, and practitioners and promoting integrated discussions on #peacekeeping and political missions / #mediation engagements.
Yesterday, we had the wonderful opportunity to host a conference on "Rethinking UN Security and Peace Engagements in a Changing World Order," providing a unique space for scholars and practitioners to engage in constructive dialogues on reimagining UN peace missions 🌍
Two highlights of the conference:
🔸 A thought-provoking panel on the evolving dynamics of global politics and their impact on UN peace and security engagements.
🔸 An engaging discussion on how the UN can remain relevant in the face of a changing world order.
