@mmartin_joo Although the malicious versions are no longer published, the trust with the maintainer is on rocky ground. Pinning `node-ipc` isn’t enough as there’s nested transitive dependencies by the same maintainer.

Hence we’ve created a drop-in fork:

The `node-ipc` debacle was an extremely unfortunate and careless act by a rogue FOSS maintainer. They still seem to own publishing rights to the package, but the trust has been broken.
