Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ibrahim Zadran, Captain of Afghanistan’s T20I Cricket Team, at my office.
We had a constructive discussion on the future and development of Afghanistan cricket. I wish Ibrahim and the Afghanistan Cricket Team continued success.
Words cannot express how immensely proud I am to see my dear friend, the legendary Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, @AAKSarod, and his incredibly talented sons, Amaan and Ayaan, honoured at the Grammys. It would take a symphony!
Having been blessed with Amjadbhai’s friendship for more than forty years, I have had the privilege of watching his lifelong devotion to the sarod, his deep reverence for music, and his unmatched grace both on and off the stage. This prestigious recognition is a testament to his enduring legacy and his family's brilliant contribution to global music. And it’s fitting that the honour is for an album that embodies the finest values of Indian secularism, which the family embodies in its own life.
Respected Khan Sahib, dear Amjadbhai, congratulations on this spectacular and well-deserved milestone! Sending you, Amaan, and Ayaan my warmest love, admiration, and respect. Here is to celebrating many beautiful memories and many more milestones to come!

“To beard the lion in his den.”
The dictionary defines it as boldly confronting a powerful rival on their own turf.
For years, Norway Chess has been Magnus Carlsen’s den. His turf. His domain.
So I woke up to this news and my jaw dropped.
You didn’t just win a title, @rpraggnachess.
You walked into the lion’s den and emerged victorious
This title is important. Not because of the trophy, but because of your challenger spirit.
And that’s something all of us can learn from…

My latest column in @TheWeekLive takes a look at the removal of Lutyens’ bust from the grounds of Rashtrapati Bhavan, now owned by Indians — of whom he had a very poor opinion (since he was, alas, a repulsive racist). But while shedding no tears for the bigot’s defenestration, I do ask whether all this political symbolism isn’t a poor substitute for the real work of construction and governance, which tends to be obscured in all the hoo-ha?
Brilliant article @drishtikone
In fact excellent deconstruction of a manufactured secularism and liberalism in Bollywood since Nehruvian times which actually meant appeasement of the Muslim lobby and negation of Hindus and their historical and current traumas.
A great argument 👇🏼
//When Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan dominated Indian cinema for two decades — when they were the unquestioned faces of the industry, when their films set box office records, when their stardom was a global phenomenon — was that a statement about Hindus?
Was anyone writing columns in The Print (or similar rags) asking whether the prevalence of Muslim actors at the top of Bollywood reflected a bias against Hindu performers? Was there an alarm about the 'Muslim takeover' of the industry?
Were there pieces worrying about whether the Khan era represented a dangerous ideological capture of India's most powerful soft power?
No. There were not.
Why?
When the Khans dominated, it was widely understood as the result of extraordinary talent meeting the right vehicles at the right cultural moment.//

Ken Griffin, founder of Citadel, has a $10 plaque behind his desk that reads: "If we're all going to eat, someone has to sell."
Of all the things this man could surround himself with, he chose a cheap plaque with a blunt truth about business.
"You're always selling. You're selling to candidates. You're selling to vendors, you're selling to counterparties, you're selling to customers."
And if you're always selling, you know what you're going to hear a lot of?
"No."
Griffin doesn't sugarcoat it. He tells two stories that illustrate just how brutal rejection can be.
1994 was a rough year, with Citadel losing ~4% of its capital. Griffin flew to Switzerland for a crucial lunch meeting, sat down, and his guest arrived only to say:
"Oh, I thought you were John Griffin from Fen Church. I got to go."
His lunch date got up and left the table.
Later that afternoon, a Swiss banker spent 45 minutes with him in a beautiful office, smoking a cigar, before closing with:
"Such a pity that such a bright young man picked the wrong career."
Two rejections in one day for the founder of one of the most successful hedge funds in history — and his takeaway was simply this:
"You just have to tolerate. You're going to hear no a lot, but you need to become accustomed to having to market your ideas and market what you represent and what you stand for."
Absorbing rejection and continuing anyway is the actual skill, whether you're hiring, raising capital, or winning customers.
Most people avoid selling because they're afraid of no. The ones who build great things have learned to expect it.
Why 99% of Meditators Are Still Asleep? — Patanjali Exposes the Truth Most people think meditation means peace, silence, and calm. That belief itself is the problem. Patanjali never taught meditation as relaxation. He exposed something far more uncomfortable. Sit silently and watch carefully. Thoughts slow down — but they do not stop. The mind becomes polite, disciplined, and spiritual. And this is where sleep deepens. 99% of meditators are not awake. They are practicing control, focus, repetition. They are doing meditation. But as long as there is a doer, there is ego. As long as there is effort, there is a mind. True meditation begins only when awareness watches without choice. No goal. No improvement. No spiritual ambition. That moment is not peaceful. It is threatening. Because the observer starts dissolving. And this is why most people turn meditation into comfort. They don’t want awakening. They want silence without truth. Watch yourself. Not to change. Not to improve. But to see. That seeing is dangerous. And Patanjali knew it. Just watched #ShatakTheFilm in theatres today, and I’m completely blown away! It beautifully traces the origins, struggles, and triumphs of an organisation born from pure conviction. From the visionary founder, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, to its unwavering growth through decades of challenges, the film captures the essence of selfless service, nation-building, and unyielding dedication like never before.
What stands out is the stunning visual storytelling that makes history feel alive and immediate. It’s not a dry documentary; it’s a heartfelt cinematic experience that stirs pride, evokes emotion, and leaves you inspired. The way it highlights the courage, discipline, and quiet contributions of countless swayamsevaks is truly moving.
In a time when stories of true patriotism need to be told, Shatak delivers with honesty, warmth, and impact. A must-watch for every Indian who values our cultural roots and national spirit.

Leaked Email from Bill Gates to Jeffrey Epstein
"Preparing for Pandemics"
"Let's discuss next steps, for example how to officially involve the WHO and CDC"
"I hope we can pull this off!"
Look up Event 201, Operation Lock Step and U.N. Disease X.
Covid was a planed attack developed over a decade by Bill Gates, working with the Rockefeller foundation. Jeffrey Epstein was David Rockefeller‘s right hand man on the Trilateral Commission.
I urge my younger friends to listen to the words of Bob Dylan’s ‘Ballad of a thin man’. Recall citing it when I came under fierce attack from the entitled secularists during the Ayodhya movement in the early-1990s.

Violence is never acceptable. It isn't justifiable. But in this "RAW DISPATCH FROM MY DESK" i explain why the attempt to throw a shoe at CJI Gavai is a reminder that even Hindu tolerance has limits. That patience can become a burden when the state acts selectively.
This massive structure has been found to be totally illegally built by encroaching upon forest land.

Did you know, in 2007, Congress Govt itself labelled Sonam Wangchuk as a threat to national security?
Congress Govt had alleged that he misused FCRA funds and had links with China.
Today, he has become a “revolutionary” for Congress and their IT Celliya like @dhruv_rathee.
Sonam Wangchuk is Arvind Kejriwal on diuretics, soiling not just his reputation, as he flees after instigating innocent and gullible Ladakhis into sowing seeds of a thousand Nepals in India.
