Why are the abolitionist shocked that a murder happened at the jail? If you can’t Post bail or no bail is given you get committed. If you brutally murder a woman do you think nobody notices? If you do not sign in the protective custody, how can you expect an ofc to protect you?

An inmate was murdered by another inmate at the jail. Years ago, people were protesting at the entrance to visits. They were lying on 2nd Ave. over suicides. But when one inmate murders another inmate, there are no protests. The Jail is less safe because of politics.
