The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has been the target of a ransomware attack that is affecting operations as of Wednesday morning. As a result, customers traveling with us today may experience delays. 1/2
After weeks of reduced schedules, an expected uptick in ferry travel to Nantucket this weekend has 13 daily high-speed departures scheduled from Hyannis and two from New Bedford. Service from NYC and Harwich Port is expected to begin in June.
Effective Sunday, we are reducing our scheduled trips to and from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in response to a sharply lower demand for travel to both islands.
This reduced schedule currently runs through April 2.

Still no confirmed cases of #Coronavirus on #Nantucket, island hospital officials say. Only case DPH reporting on the islands as of Saturday afternoon is in #marthasvineyard
Rumors about service disruptions or limits on passage are untrue. We will run until we are either told not to or until we are unable to do so. Please keep an eye on our official social media accounts or our dedicated web page, https://t.co/Xi7QiZCYDb, for the latest.
The Steamship Authority's website is currently unavailable. All reservation activity is on hold until 9 a.m. EST. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update prior to 9 a.m.
