@MakJoris same core idea, difference is form vs transp. xdelta3 (RFC3284) standardizes the data format, you still build all the delivery pipeline. Shared dicts (RFC9842) standardize the transport - browser & server negotiate automatically, the cache is the dictionary, fallback is built in.
