Hi, I'm A.C. Luke!
I'm a freelance writer, editor, and TTRPG designer.
You can my games and adventures at https://t.co/DI9mR3wUXk.
I also write a newsletter about using myth and folklore in tabletop RPGs, which you can read using the link below!

@eldritchmouse This is such a genius idea! I love the concept of using the word tiles to create temporary spells/magic items too, that's such a clever approach to bringing TotK to the tabletop. I know some of my players would absolutely love creative problem solving with such a system :)
@eldritchmouse Thank you! I'm excited to try my hand at putting together adventures of publishable quality, it's been a really interesting learning experience :)
And if you're into Old-School Essentials, I wrote up the Kobold as a class (and race)!
The humble kobold knows there's strength in numbers. Perhaps you ought to add their trickery and guile to your own party?

This week in Mythoi, my folklore+RPGs newsletter, I'm answering an age-old question: is a kobold a fairy, a lizard, or a dog?
I write about its Germanic origins, then from original #dnd to 5E! If you've ever been curious about "old-school dog kobolds" check out the tweet below!
@weirdwonderdev @SprintingOwl Thank you! And I agree, he's just encouraging charity and goodwill amongst neighbours! Really wants to bring the community together.
Wolf Head is my entry in @RPDeshaies's #DashJam, and so you can get it half-price until the end of the jam!
You can check out the other really cool entries at the link below too!

WOLF HEAD, my latest project, is out now!
It's a dark fantasy rpg about criminals cursed to be hunted like wolves, and what you will (and won't) do to rejoin society!
Find it at https://t.co/o2IWUuuFKl!
#ttrpg#fitd#dashjam
Take on the role of a wolf, a criminal cursed with a wolf head and banished from society. You have become defined by your crimes—murder, revolution, heresy, theft, loving the wrong person. Will what you did help or hinder you in clawing back what they took from you?
Seeding consequences as more likely early in the game too helps create a messy and complicated world. It builds momentum too, just in a spiralling, chaotic manner. And working to find answers in that chaos is, ultimately, what Wolf Head is all about. (5/5)
WOLF HEAD 04: Blood
If Blades has Stress and Charge/Dash has Momentum, Wolf Head has Blood.
Blood is important because every Blades-derived game has to consider how to handle its stress economy. Thematically & mechanically, it's a huge lever for managing player control. (1/5)
When you fail, or over-succeed, you gain Blood. Mechanically, failure early in the story empowers you to succeed later. Thematically, you hurt and bleed and learn from your mistakes. Failing early intentionally gives players greater control over the story's end. (4/5)
