30 Christians have lost their lives due to the conflict in Gaza since the war began.

Out of 1,000 Christians remaining, 19 have been killed by military action and 11 have died because of a lack of medical care in the last four months.

The six religious sisters abducted in Haiti last week have been released, Port-au-Prince Archdiocese has confirmed.

The sisters were held captive for five days after being kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
