@nut_history@jschaeff23@imjlkr He most certainly did not know the rule either. With the ball being live 10 feet from the plate, he would never commit to running home without thinking it was a force out. He realized that the umpire did not indicate an out at home before he causally touch home plate
@Sportsnet As an American, I acknowledge that a good portion of the fans there were probably Canadians, but hearing the crowd pick up, in lockstep, when the microphone cuts out gives me hope that we can still be friends and allies despite our differences.
@PKSubban1@NHL@espn@emilymkaplan Someone wanting to play the game because they were inspired and interested in the sport from watching you. Honestly, is there a better complement than that? I'll wait here
@JoshYohe_PGH Oddly I thought of that immediately too. The side by side photo would be wild if that was Mcdavid in the spot where Perry was. It would be apropos on several levels
@JoshYohe_PGH I think the craziest part about these numbers are that his lowest production years were in the middle part of his career which is typically the "prime" years. I have no doubt he can continue this as long as he wants to
@Capitals@penguins His individual accomplishments speak for themselves. We respect him and honor what he achieved and what has the best rivalry the NHL has seen in a long time. We're gonna miss these guys in the very near future
@DropAPinShow@martymush I'm so confused here to the point where I'm questioning my intelligence. Questions revolve around clues to place the name of the city. He responds with the name of a continent. Gets laughed at profusely then proceeds to provide the answer in the form of the entire country
@billmaher@RealTimers As a registered Republican that aligns with many of your thoughts and ideas as well as an avid follower and viewer of your content, I'm very interested in this segment. We all know where you stand with him. Should be interesting
@Buccigross I would have no issues with it and that status is obviously well deserved for both of them, but I think the bigger tragedy would be if they aren't in the same class of inductees.
@TONYxTWO@charliekirk11 What's the point of coming on that show for a discussion? She's not interested in a back and forth discussion to express and entertain each others perspective. She's interested in spewing her narratives and storming out. Pure petulance
@PKSubban1@NHL@espn@ABCNetwork@penguins When? When they traded Guentzel because he wasn't going to resign? That's not a rebuild chief. Dubas is loading up picks now, but his moves on the backend have been garbage. This is literally the worst defensive team in the league by far.
@PKSubban1@NHL@espn@ABCNetwork@penguins As a Pen's fan, you absolutely cooked here. Most Pen's fans knew Karlsson wasn't what the team needed. This is the softest least physical D core in the league. Graeves, Gryz, PO and Karl are on Dubas. This criticism is more than fair
@yinzzzerr I'm an eye test guy. Sid has sacrificed offensive to be defensively responsible on a team that has never been known for its defensive prowess. Especially when you have the likes of Karlsson and Letang running around out there. Sid has always been a strong two way player
@yinzzzerr I became a hockey fan because of Mario growing up in western PA. Mario is my favorite athlete of all time. I've been struggling to challenge how Sid is not the best 200 foot player of all time for years now.
