@StormySparrow93 @12Gage09 I think a big part of it is the fact that you can do tasks that aren't encounters. And often when I'm doing them for an encounter, it's not shiny eligible yet.

@NianticHelp Why you would feature a Pokémon for an event that literally 99% of players can't catch is beyond me. They were here and although quite rare, I was fine with that. But then you go and make them impossible for me to catch. Why? I was traveling to new areas and now this event sucks
