The Education Bridge is a new website dedicated for school leaders. It is free to use with no sign up and no cost. It allows school leaders to search, filter and find great companies to help you develop your school further. By the sector, for the sector.
Getting down to work with our fantastic Coventry and Warwickshire edu leaders in our ‘Teaching Walk Thru’ training today. A great programme and a commitment by these great schools to give their children the very best offer.
@MrMcofficial86@HelenNott5 You were fantastic Mr Mc . Amazing ideas , resources and support for practitioners across Leicester .And what a hard working bunch they are too!
@samanthareveley@STyne_Council This is a sign of the current system and simply wrong , your daughter deserves every chance to thrive in education and have the support she rightly deserves . I am sure you are fighting this all the way , best wishes .
Great to work with some fantastic early years leaders from Worcestershire and Coventry today . They showed a real appetite for giving their children the best start in education . Shows how committed EYFS practitioners and leaders are .
@MissEYFS1@EYTalking it needs start from your curriculum pathway and school ethos first then over to your staff for the inspiration . Why not ask them to take an aspect each and explore how they can present the curriculum journey from start of EYFS to end with the knowledge learned along the way👍🏼
@michael_merrick The job is hard full stop. Huge responsibility and lots of pressure particularly at the minute . Like most high pressure jobs it gets more comfortable the more you experience it. Lots of help out there if needed and make sure you balance operational and strategic work.Good luck.
@ProfDanielMuijs I agree Daniel , the school uniform is a good leveller for all children from all backgrounds and it could instil a pride and sense of belonging to the school if underpinned by the school leaders . In essence it can be a force for good if managed in the right way .
@adven_slearning @JamieThomasTFW Spot on ! It is about fun and engagement . A “hook into wider learning “ . A vehicle for discussion , role play and reading . Oh and allowing children a time to use their imagination . I think that could be classed as impact .
@Miss_H_0311 @MissEYFS1@EYTalking Sorry about this . The dfe are standing firm on their stance for nursery classes . However unions and local authorities are trying to make sure the right children are prioritised to limit the numbers and keep staff safe . Good luck .
Love this . If you are a parent or work in a school, make sure you share this and forward your positive comments about the hard work school staff are undertaking at present to support the children . Get on to ofsted and tell them the positives .
@SwailesRuth Ruth, local authorities are making their own call based on the lack of clarity about school nursery classes and are giving heads discretion to choose or not . PVI S are open, reception upwards closed , school nursery discretion. More to come tomorrow after union pressure . 👍🏼
@michael_merrick Michael you are spot on . I support lots of schools who are stating that they have much higher numbers of key worker children wanting a school place this week . Meaning little difference to the virus. Plus article this week stating teachers have three times the infection rate.
