Leadership Reflection: Trusting the Process
One of the greatest challenges of leadership is remaining faithful to the process when progress is not immediately visible.
As leaders, educators, ministers, parents, and professionals, we often find ourselves working hard, making sacrifices, and investing in others without seeing immediate results. During those moments, it is easy to question whether our efforts are making a difference.
Over the years, I have learned that growth often occurs beneath the surface before it becomes visible. Just as a seed develops roots before it breaks through the soil, leaders are often being developed long before their impact is fully realized.
Some of the most valuable lessons I have learned did not come during seasons of success, but during seasons of struggle, uncertainty, disappointment, and waiting. Looking back, I can now see that those seasons were not obstacles—they were part of God’s curriculum.
The process was preparing me for the purpose.
💭 Reflection Question:
What is one lesson that a difficult season taught you that you could not have learned any other way?
I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
