@mmpadellan The foot was junk. Less quantity and more calories. My kids were starved and filled with sodium when they came home from school. Gained more weight then a packed lunched with twice the amount of food. (Son was a wrestler so tracked weight)

@HeatherR411 This is an ignorant comment. There are many coed sports at 10. In fact females many times are more physically developed at the point. But it changes and that is why the sports separate. If you don’t understand this, you never competed in a sport that requires strength

@briantylercohen My children were in elementary school during that debacle. What we got were more expensive lunches, smaller portions, hungry kids and because my son was a wrestler and we monitored his weight throughout the day, I can tell you he weighed more than when I packed for him.
