Deadly scrambles for food continue across Gaza.

The UN rights office says that by 21 July at least 1,054 people had been killed near distribution points and convoys since late May, amid gunfire, crushes and looting.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation are carrying on with their aid delivery strategies, but on Israel approved the resumption of airdrops. The UK says it plans drops with Jordan.

However, UNRWA has called airdrops costly, hazardous and a “distraction,” urging safe road access instead.
