आज राजधानी में भ्रमण के दौरान, मैंने देखा कि एक व्यक्ति ने अपनी कार से रोटी सड़क पर फेंकी- संभवतः गाय को खिलाने के उद्देश्य से। मैंने गाड़ी रुकवाई और उस व्यक्ति से आग्रह किया कि कृपया ऐसा दोबारा न करें।
रोटी हमारे लिए केवल भोजन नहीं है, वह हमारी संस्कृति, श्रद्धा और सम्मान का प्रतीक है। सड़क पर रोटी फेंकने से गाय माता और अन्य पशु वहां खाने के लिए आते हैं, जिससे न केवल उनकी जान को खतरा होता है, बल्कि सड़क पर चल रहे लोगों और वाहनों की सुरक्षा भी खतरे में पड़ जाती है।
अन्न का अपमान नहीं होना चाहिए। अगर आप पशुओं को भोजन कराना चाहते हैं, तो कृपया यह काम किसी गोशाला या नि��्धारित स्थान पर करें। यह हमारी संवेदनशीलता, जिम्मेदारी ��र संस्कारों की पहचान है।

मैं सभी दिल्लीवासियों से अपील करती हूँ: सड़क पर रोटी या कोई भी भोजन न फेंकें। पशुओं को प्यार से, पर जिम्मेदारी के साथ भोजन कराएं। अपनी संस्कृति का सम्मान करें और अपनी सड़कों को सुरक्षित बनाए रखें। #RoadSafety

Inaugurated an exclusively carved 'Children's Play Area" at DDA's Baansera today.

Situated in the midst of lush greens, this dedicated recreational area for kids & teenagers, this facility will provide much needed open space, in our City increasingly getting cramped due to space crunch.

With this, Delhi for the first time gets a recreational hub where every equipment & accessory is made of biodegradable eco-friendly material.

Interacted with a large group of Senior Citizens from across the City under the aegis of #Samvad, along with @CPDelhi at the C Subrahmaniam Auditorium, IARI, PUSA. A segment of extreme importance to the society, senior citizens are a repository of knowledge & experience.

As a commitment to safeguarding their security concerns, Delhi Police distributed I-Cards to them, and we felicitated distinguished individuals for their exceptional service and contribution to the Police force by way of knowledge sharing.

People present appreciated the Delhi Police for their sensitive and proactive approach towards security of senior citizens and specifically applauded the “Kutumb” App, designed to ensure their safety and well-being.

Most of those present highlighted their concerns with regards to non-availability of ample affordable healthcare. The non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat in Delhi deprives many senior citizens of rightful benefits and the same was highlighted during the interaction.

Invited the gathering for their next interactive session under #Samvad@Raj Niwas, which has already hosted as many as 72,000 people in the last one and a half year.
