ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ 🚦, ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ⚖️, ಭದ್ರತೆ 🔒 ಹಾಗೂ ಅಪರಾಧ ತಡೆ 🚫 ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಇಂದು, 'ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನ'ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಂಠೀರವ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಡಾ. ಜಿ. ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ ಅವರು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ‘ರಕ್ಷಾ ಕ್ಯೂಆರ್ ಕೋಡ್’ ಅನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳ ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದರು.

'ವಿಷ ವರ್ತುಲವನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿ' – ಸಂಘಟಿತ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಫ್ಲೈನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಚರ್ಚಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳು, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಕ್ವಿಜ್‌ಗಳು, ನಾಟಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಕಾಭಿನಯಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ದುರುಪಯೋಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಶಕ್ತೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ‘ರಕ್ಷಾ ಕ್ಯೂಆರ್ ಕೋಡ್’ ಅನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Today, on the #InternationalDayAgainstDrugAbuse, Karnataka State Police, in collaboration with educational institutions, hosted a large-scale awareness program at Kanteerava Stadium.

Hon'ble HM Dr. G. Parameshwara, joined by senior officials, led the pledge, launched the Raksha QR code, and oversaw the destruction of seized drugs.

Under the theme ‘Break the Cycle – #StopOrganisedCrime’, nearly 12,500 college students participated in the event both offline and online through panel discussions, skits, cultural events, quizzes, and mimes. A special Raksha QR Code was also launched to empower citizens against drug abuse.
