February was Turner Syndrome Awareness Month, and Northeast Elementary students & staff wore purple to honor a friend who has Turner Syndrome. 💜 💜 It's these small but meaningful actions that make our schools special.

Jeannette Milburn, our 2025-26 Teacher of the Year, visited the Capitol Building & other DC attractions while touring our nation's capital earlier this month. When she's not in D.C. with other Teachers of the Year, she's teaching math to 6th-graders at Braddock Middle.

Destiney Burgess, a Mountain Ridge junior, won 1st place in Allegany County Rotary Club's 4-Way Test speech contest. She competed against students from Ridge, Allegany & Bishop Walsh. Her topic? The use of empathy in conflict resolution. Good luck at regionals, Destiney!🤩
